Milestone 1: Core Game Development & Asset Enhancement (COMPLETED)
° Asset Redesign and Optimization : We will enhance the existing assets and redesign any necessary elements, including the map. This involves fixing problematic collisions and improving character models to ensure compatibility with Unreal Engine 5's advanced features and high quality.
° Character Rigging and Basic Movements : Our team will develop sophisticated character rigging to support a wide range of realistic movements. Additionally, we will set up character movements within the map, implementing a complete movement system for the characters.
° Multiplayer Framework Setup : We will establish the foundation for multiplayer gameplay. Objective: By the completion of Milestone 1, we aim to have a robust game world built with high-quality assets and a functional multiplayer framework that supports fundamental gameplay interactions.
Milestone 2: Shooting Mechanics, Weapon Systems & Initial Game Modes (COMPLETED)
° Advanced Shooting Dynamics: Our primary focus will be on implementing refined shooting mechanics, emphasizing both realism and responsiveness.
° Weapon Diversity and Customization: We will introduce a diverse arsenal, each offering extensive customization capabilities to enhance the player experience. This includes grenade explosions and (possibly a perks system, which will be optional depending on available time).
° Game Mode Prototypes: We will develop and test prototypical versions of classic game modes such as Team Deathmatch and Search & Destroy.
° Objective: Milestone 2 will culminate in a playable version of the game featuring fundamental shooting mechanics and a selection of weapons. This milestone will offer an early glimpse into the competitive and cooperative gameplay modes.
Milestone 3: Advanced Game Modes, Mod Support, AI Bots, and UI Integration (COMPLETED)
° Expansion of Game Modes: We will finalize the development of additional game modes, ensuring they are polished and engaging. This includes 2v2, 4v4, 8v8, free-for-all, and potentially other modes, depending on the time available for implementation.
° AI Bot Implementation: We will create AI bots for various purposes, including practice and offline play, featuring adjustable difficulty levels to cater to a range of skill levels.
° User Interface and Experience: We will design a comprehensive and intuitive user interface, covering all aspects of player interaction, from the HUD to matchmaking lobbies.
° Detailed Menu System: Develop a full featured menu system, including Main Menu, Settings, Matchmaking, Loadout options, and other navigational features to ensure players have a seamless and intuitive experience.
° Objective: Upon the completion of Milestone 3, the game will be ready for broader player testing, featuring a suite of game modes, a user-friendly interface, and AI bots to enhance solo play.
Milestone 4: Final Polish, Testing, and Launch Preparation (COMPLETED)

° Gameplay Balancing and Optimization: Our team will rigorously balance the gameplay mechanics and optimize the game to accommodate a wide range of hardware specifications.

Milestone 5: Arsenal, customization and asset expansion (IN PROGRESS)
Weapon and Gadget Development
• Mortar: A portable artillery piece that players can carry and deploy anywhere on the battlefield. Features include a targeting system that allows players to adjust the trajectory and impact point of shells.
• Explosive Bolt Crossbow: A heavy crossbow designed to fire massive steel arrows tipped with high-explosive charges. Upon impact, these bolts detonate, causing significant area damage.
• AK-69: A futuristic twist on the classic AK-47, incorporating sci-fi aesthetics and enhanced functionality, possibly with unique firing modes or energy-based projectiles.
• Clonade: A tactical grenade that, upon detonation, creates a clone of the player. This clone walks in the direction of the grenade's throw for 10 seconds and disappears after taking a hit, adding a strategic decoy element to gameplay.
• Boombastic: A throwable device that sticks to walls. When an enemy player comes into proximity, it detonates, making it ideal for ambushes or securing areas.
• Boner: Throwable bones that explode on impact in a horizontal blast, effective for clearing narrow passages or hitting multiple targets within a short range.
Tactical and Visual Enhancements
• Colorful Smoke Grenades: A range of smoke grenades that each emit a thick, colorful cloud, aiding in visual diversification and strategic concealment.
• Graffiti-Printer: An in-game tool allowing players to spray pre-selected GIFs and images onto walls, adding a personalized and creative aspect to the game environment.
• Heavy Shield: A defensive item that slows the player when carried but can be deployed as a temporary wall. It offers strategic cover and can be used once per game for critical defensive maneuvers.
Terminator Weapon Development
• Terminator: A heavy, reel gun with an exceptionally high rate of fire. It slows down the player due to its weight but offers overwhelming firepower. Requires a cooldown period after extended use, adding a tactical element to its use.
Graffiti Variants
• Green Graffiti: Allows players to spray various Pepe-themed GIFs. • Red Graffiti: Enables spraying a range of Elmo-themed GIFs.
• Beige Graffiti: Offers the ability to spray various Shiba inu (Shib) themed GIFs, adding fun and diversity to the game's visual elements.
Weapon Categories and Customization
• Categorization: Weapons and gadgets will be categorized into sidearms (pistols, knives, batons), assault rifles, snipers, and tactical gadgets, including grenades and throwable objects (smoke, blend, explosive grenades, energy bombs, etc.).
• Customization and NFT Integration: Players can customize their weapons using add-ons purchased as NFTs, enhancing the gameplay experience and allowing for personalization.
Milestone 6: Further enhancements to UI, gameplay, abilities (IN PROGRESS)
Character Selection Enhancements
• Character Animations: Develop and integrate unique animations for each character during selection, showcasing their personality, combat style, or special abilities. These animations should be visually striking and representative of the character's in-game role.
• Voice Lines Integration: Record and implement character-specific voice lines that are triggered during the character selection screen. These lines should reflect each character's persona, like ‘Elmo is ready to kill’ or ‘Sharbi at your service’, adding to the thematic immersion.
Menu Design Update
• High quality animated menu system: Redesign the game's main menu with a dark orange theme, creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface. The design should be neutral to maintain focus on the menu functionalities, yet distinct enough to stand out from the in-game environments.
Audio Enhancements
• Headshot Audio Cue: Create a distinctive and gratifying sound effect that plays when a player achieves a headshot, similar to the iconic cue in Counter-Strike. This audio should be satisfying and recognizable, enhancing the player’s sense of achievement.
• Live Team Speak Feature: Implement a robust live communication system that allows players to speak with their teammates in real-time during matches. This system should be clear, with minimal latency, and easily accessible, enhancing team coordination and strategy.
New Characters Integration
• Character Development: Design and introduce 2-3 new characters, each with unique visuals, backstories, and skill sets. These characters should offer new gameplay experiences and strategies, broadening the game's appeal to a wider player base.
Special Unlocks and Abilities
• Character-Specific Powers: For each character, develop a unique special ability that becomes available every 1000 XP. These abilities, like Elmo’s fire transformation or Pepe’s protective orb, should significantly alter gameplay, offering temporary advantages.
• New Tactical Items: Introduce new items such as selectable fireballs, deployable drones, and stationary turrets. These items should vary in their strategic applications, allowing for diverse combat scenarios and increased tactical depth.

Milestone 7: New map, level up system (IN PROGRESS)
Level Up System Design
• Experience Mechanics: Develop a progression system where players earn experience points (XP) through gameplay. Each level requires an additional 1000 XP, starting from 1000 XP for level 1.
• Ranking Structure: Establish a tiered ranking system with distinct names and thresholds, such as 'Ubernoob' (levels 1-10), 'Noob' (levels 11-20), progressing up to 'Top OG' at level 100.
• Reward Badges: Design unique badges for each rank, using vibrant colors and themes that reflect the game's 'meme' culture. These badges should be visually appealing and serve as a status symbol within the game community.
Integration with Gameplay
• Experience Acquisition: Define how players earn XP, whether through matches, achievements, special events, or other in-game activities.
• Visibility and Accessibility: Ensure that players can easily view their current level, XP progress, and next rank threshold within the game interface.

Map Concept and Design
• Thematic Elements: Create a jungle-themed map with a mystical, glowing pond at its center, including a signature frog statue.
• Sci-Fi Military Camps: Design camps or bases for each team, inspired by 'Avatar' with high-tech military and laboratory aesthetics.
Environmental Details
• Vegetation and Terrain: Integrate dense jungle vegetation and design old-style rocky bridges that blend with the jungle environment.
